Tranquil Abiding – Three-Day Silent Retreat
At the International Kadampa Retreat Center Grand Canyon
Enjoy ideal retreat conditions and go deeper with your meditation practice.
Peace of mind is priceless. Whenever it arises, we are happy, our body becomes comfortable, and we have a positive influence on those around us. Tranquil Abiding is a superior state of peace that arises through training in meditation in a systematic way over many sessions.
In this retreat, learn to abide in meditation without distraction. Meditating in silence, away from worldly interferences, enables you to reach states of inner peace more easily and remain there longer. Training in mindfulness in this way will help you to improve your daily practice, make progress in your spiritual journey, and improve the quality of your life.
“Fortunate ones, stroll in quiet and peaceful places, far away from all conflict and objects of delusion.” –Shantideva
