Current Series: Oral Instructions of Mahamudra
The Oral Instructions of Mahamudra
Travelling the Path to Realizations
Tuesdays 11:30 am – 1 pm
Sept 5 – Oct 24
with Gen Kelsang Lhadron
No class this Tuesday- October 10th
In this series we will explore the teachings from one of Geshe-la’s most recent books, The Oral Instructions of Mahamudra. The precious book reveals the uncommon practice of Tantric Mahamudra of the Ganden Oral Lineage, which the author received directly from his Spiritual Guide, Dorjechang Trijang Rinpoche. It explains clearly and concisely the entire spiritual path from the initial preliminary practices to the final completion stages of Highest Yoga Tantra that enable us to attain full enlightenment in this life.
Attaining the results of these practices, the realization of Mahamudra, depends on receiving the Highest Yoga Tantra empowerment. Those who have not yet received this empowerment can attend these classes with the intention to receive that empowerment in the future. The next opportunity will be in Mexico City in April 2018. For more information about this empowerment:
Upcoming Series: Improving Relationships
October 31-November 21
Tuesdays 11:30 am-1 pm
with Gen Kelsang Lhadron
$10/ Drop-in Class
There are times in our personal and professional life when we wish we could relate differently to others. Whether at home or at work, we often find our relationships give rise to habitual challenges that continue to expose our anger, attachment, and jealousy. Our unfulfilled expectations lead to feelings of resentment and unhappiness with ourselves and others.
In this series, we will explore how meditation has the power to profoundly improve and transform our relationships, both past and present. We will learn how to let go of painful thoughts of anger and disappointment and replace them with gratitude, respect for others, patience, and kindness. Cultivating these minds is the key to meaningful, harmonious relationships.
Although it is beneficial to attend the entire series, you may drop in at any time.
October 31: Love vs. Attachment

November 14: Seeing Beyond Faults
November 21: Love, the Great Protector
