Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, Spiritual Director of the NKT-IKBU, is a fully accomplished meditation master and internationally renowned teacher of Buddhism. He was ordained as a Buddhist monk at the age of eight and spent almost 40 years in concentrated study and meditation. He is dedicating his entire life to teaching Buddhism and to providing conditions for students around the world to find happy and meaningful lives.

Ven. Geshe-la has written 20 books on Buddhism that clearly and practically reveal how to solve our human problems by following the path to enlightenment. Through his compassionate activities, we now have three levels of Kadampa study programs, and fully-qualified Buddhist teachers caring for, helping and guiding students at over 1100 locations in more than 30 countries.

Gen Kelsang Gomlam is Geshe Kelsang's representative in Albuquerque at KMC New Mexico, and has been studying, practicing and teaching Kadam Dharma for eleven years in New Mexico. Her teachings are heartfelt and presented with clarity and warmth that make them accessible to everyone.

Gen Kelsang Gomlam is also the Resident Teacher at Tushita Buddhist Center in Santa Fe, and currently oversees several branches around the state.
