Heruka Body Mandala Retreat*

Join us for instruction and guided meditations on the Highest Yoga Tantra practice of Heruka Body Mandala, the very essence of Buddha's teachings. If you have received HYT Empowerment, this is a wonderful opportunity to further explore this beautiful and meaningful practice.
The name Heruka has three parts, 'He', 'ru', and 'ka'. 'He' refers to the emptiness of all phenomena, 'ru' refers to great bliss, and 'ka' refers to the union of bliss and emptiness. This indicates that through relying upon Heruka with faith we shall attain the realization of the union of great bliss and emptiness, which is the actual quick path to enlightenment.
In this meditation retreat, Gen Chokyan will give instructions and guide meditations on the Highest Yoga Tantra practice of Heruka Body Mandala. Teachings will be from Modern Buddhism, and Essence of Vajrayana. We will use The Yoga of Buddha Heruka sadhana for prayer and meditation.
*As an HYT Practitioner, you are welcome to attend any part of this retreat.

About the Teacher
Gen Kelsang Chokyan is an American Buddhist monk. He has been practicing meditation and modern Buddhism for 16 years and is a great example of how to practice Kadampa Buddhism in the modern world. His sincere teachings are presented with humor and warmth, showing us how to find peace and happiness in our everyday daily lives.
