Post International Spring Festival Retreat
The Power of Compassion
Friday & Saturday, May 29 & 30, 2020
with Resident Teacher, Gen Kelsang Chokyan
Our compassion is our Buddha nature, our potential to become a fully enlightened Buddha. Through meditation, we can extend and deepen our compassion until it transforms into the mind of universal compassion—the sincere wish to liberate all living beings from suffering permanently.
In this retreat, based on teachings from the International Spring Festival (Manjushri KMC, UK), we will gain familiarity with the profound practice of Buddha Vajrapani. Through meditation and contemplation, we can develop the powerful mind of universal compassion and draw closer to enlightenment ourself.
“The way to become a Buddha is to awaken our compassionate Buddha nature and complete the training in universal compassion.” —Geshe Kelsang Gyatso
