Anxiety is a feeling that is coming from within our mind. But what is causing this feeling? How can we control our mind if we don’t understand what it is? By understanding our mind, we can begin to train in developing and maintaining a light, positive mind and thereby overcome feelings of anxiety, worry, and stress.
In this weekly meditation course, we will be exploring the book How to Understand the Mind in order to understand the way in which the mind functions and how this directly relates to our feelings, thoughts, and actions. Within this book, we will look closely at topics like mental factors, delusions, and conceptual and non-conceptual minds and gain a better understanding of our mind. Then, we can begin to change our experiences by abandoning states of mind that harm us and replace them with peaceful and beneficial ones.
