Join us for instruction and guided meditations on the Highest Yoga Tantra practice of The Yoga of Buddha Heruka, the very essence of Buddha’s teachings.

This weekly class is open to those with Highest Yoga Tantra (HYT) Empowerment from the New Kadampa Tradition

Gain experience with your Highest Yoga Tantra practice in preparation for the upcoming counting retreats in January, 2022!

During this weekly class series, we will engage in the practice of The Yoga of Buddha Heruka under the guidance of Gen Chokyan . This is a wonderful opportunity to gain the experience we need to strengthen our connection with Buddha Heruka and make personal progress in your tantric practice.

To practice the sadhana The Yoga of Buddha Heruka successfully we must have first received the empowerment of Highest Yoga Tantra and then study authentic instructions on the practice such as those found in the commentary Essence of Vajrayana . This comprehensive guide gives a complete explanation of the Tantric practice of Buddha Heruka, including all the essential prayers.

The Yoga of Buddha Heruka  is a special practice of Heruka body mandala and Vajrayogini in conjunction with the Guru yoga of Guru Sumati Buddha Heruka, which includes the condensed six-session yoga, an essential practice for those who have received Highest Yoga Tantra empowerments

About the Teacher

Gen Kelsang Chokyan

Gen Kelsang Chokyan is an American Buddhist monk. He has been practicing meditation and modern Buddhism for 16 years and is a great example of how to practice Kadampa Buddhism in the modern world. His sincere teachings are presented with humor and warmth, showing us how to find peace and happiness in our daily lives.
